We are "iced" in today with this incredible pooping machine. He loves to go outside because he knows he'll get a treat as soon as he does his business outside, but he must save some up as an extra special treat for when he gets back inside, because he'll poop again in 3 or 4 different spots, and generally never in the same place twice.
Yes, we are stuck at home because of some ridiculous ice storm. This one is not nearly as bad as the previous 2 years, but it's wreaking havoc nonetheless.
It's also throwing a major wrench in my training plan. I have my first 6 hour race coming up in just over a month, March 8 to be exact. That's 6 hours on a mountain bike riding a loop of singletrack as fast as I can...pretty much near my V02 max the entire time. Right now, I feel as though that will never happen. I will be laughed right out of the park, I'm sure.
Of course being stuck at home with 2 teenage girls and nothing to do but bake muffins and cookies isn't too good for the ole training plan either.
Trainer time...
