I bought one of these because I am a sucker for a good gear review and because pro mountain biker Sonya Looney said it was pretty cool. And of course, I am forever striving to be one of the cool people. If the Mountain Feed Bag will make me look cool, well then it's a pittance to pay $34.75 to look as cool as one of the pros.
Now that I'm going to look all cool and everything, its probably imperative that I get on my bike and actually ride it, so I don't perform like an idiot.
Obviously, our weather here in the midwest during the winter is questionable at best. The trails are mostly mud pits, unless they're frozen, which happens part of the time, but makes it really hard to plan. Never is it consistently warm enough to get a really great long road ride in that isn't spur of the moment because the weather has taken a surprising turn for the better, and a 2-3 hour ride on the trainer is NOT my idea of fun.
I have a 6 hour race coming up 2 weeks from Saturday and I haven't been on my mountain bike since December.
On second thought, I don't think even a Mountain Feed Bag will make me look cool.
